Walking with the Birds in Delhi -A book

Walking with the Birds in Delhi is my experience with the birds I found in Delhi through out the year. The information I had collected are not a research work, only a study as an amateur bird watcher and photographer. I had tried my best to locate the birds within Delhi territory., though I know birds never confined them like human. They are free to fly on choice but we the people slowly engulfing their zone. In my book I tried to show the birds I had seen. And yes missed to take pictures of few. I have a hope to cover them in future.

Do not mistake with the Taj of Agra. This is called mini Taj in Aurangabad of Maharashtra state built by Mughal emperor Aurangajeb’s son Azam Shah, in memory of his mother Rabia Begam or Rabia –ud-Durrani, in the year 1660.Allmost a replica of famous Taj Mahal of Agra, the monument is called ‘Bibi-ka- Moqbara’.

Say ‘No’ to plastic--- It was a period when plastic, the generic name for certain synthetic or semi synthetic materials, was not at all a common item in India. We were habituated to use earthen pots beside metal products. The carry bags were made of jute or cotton fibers. Even in my school age I used to carry a backpack made of canvas. The bottles were either made of glass or metal. Then the plastic products were launched and its durability quickly adopted both by the consumers and producers for its low price without imagining that it could be turned to a Frankenstein to our environment in future. This little juvenile Painted Stork may have realized the fact?
